JET Architecture at its core, believes in a transfer of cross disciplinary technologies. Many of our projects utilize design tools from the aerospace and automotive industries. We have a keen interest in the automation of architectural fabrication. At the same time, JET Architecture explores design that improves and adds value to our contemporary environment. In all our designs we ask fundamental questions and provide precise solutions with a high level of clarity and appropriateness.
Jeff Leung
After graduating from the University of Toronto he has been engaged as a designer in various disciplines stretching from architecture, industrial design, graphic design, interior design, virtual reality, internet to computer animation. Jeff subscribes to the notion of a being a complete designer. His experience in the various design fields has honed his conceptual design skills which allow him to help quickly conceptualize a project and bring it to reality.
Edward Kim
Edward is a licensed architect certified by the Ontario Association of Architects. He graduated from the University of Toronto and has worked at some of Canada's foremost architecture firms. He has over 10 years experience in institutional, commercial and residential architecture. With a focus on clean and simple lines, Edward's design philosophy is based on the creation of intelligent, beautiful and sustainable spaces.
Tynnon Chow
Tynnon received his bachelor’s degree from University of Toronto and completed his post graduate study at the Columbia University of New York. Tynnon had the privilege of working at offices such as Steven Holl in New York City, OMA Asia in Hong Kong and Gehry Technologies' in Beijing and Seoul. His experience at these internationally renown firms has had fundamental influence on his work. Parallel to professional practice, Tynnon also taught design studios and conducted extensive research on fabrication and construction at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has also taught at the Art Center of Hong Kong. With over ten years of professional and academic experience, Tynnon has developed extensive experience in the area of digital parametric design and in the pioneering field of Building Information Management. His expertise is one of the key assets that make the JET office very competitive and effective.
